We’re offering a series of five, virtual Small Business Workshops for Entrepreneurs with Disabilities, in collaboration with Hofstra University’s Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. There is no cost to attend, but you must register. You can register for one or more of the workshops.
We welcome participants with a broad range of disabilities, visible or nonvisible, looking to build or expand their businesses as we appreciate business ownership is a viable employment pathway to financial independence.
The workshops will be held virtually from 6:30-8:00 pm. The dates and topics are as follows:
- Oct. 10, 2023 – Funding your Startup without Venture Capital
- Oct. 17, 2023 – Marketing, the Good, and the Ugly: Putting together a results-oriented plan
- Oct. 24, 2023 – Available Marketing Tools and How to Use Them Part 1 – Websites and SEO
- Nov. 7, 2023 – Available Marketing Tools and How to Use Them Part 2 – Email and Social Media
- Nov. 14, 2023 – Selling Online
Participants who attend 4 of the 5 workshops will be eligible for one-on-one mentorship on any topics covered in the series. Space is limited. Register now.
