Announcing Roy Danis as Board Chair
It is my pleasure to announce that Roy Danis, President & CEO of Conecuh Brands, assumed the role of Chair of The Viscardi Center Board of Directors on July 1, 2022. Roy succeeds Russ Cusick. Under Russ’ leadership, Viscardi’s programs have experienced significant growth and have made a meaningful impact on the lives of thousands of people with disabilities. We offer Russ our most heartfelt thanks for his servant leadership during his tenure as Board Chair.
Roy Danis joined the Abilities, Inc. board in 2012. He then moved to The Viscardi Center board in October 2014 and has been an active member as its Development Committee Chair for almost six years. An avid supporter of our fundraising efforts, he chaired the golf outing committee for its first eight years and brought his expertise, creativity, and network together to create Viscardi’s Whiskey Flight event at the Cradle of Aviation.
Roy shared, “I believe passionately in the Viscardi mission and in its ability to change lives for the better for all people in the disability community. I look forward to continuing to support Viscardi’s mission to improve the lives of people with disabilities, as its new Board Chair.”
Please join me in congratulating Roy!
