This winter, The Viscardi Center proudly recognized ten recipients of the 2016 Henry Viscardi Achievement Awards at an event in New York City. Honoring the spirit and legacy of the Center’s founder, Dr. Henry Viscardi, Jr., the annual awards are bestowed upon exemplary leaders with disabilities from around the world who, through the example of their professional accomplishments and advocacy efforts, are reshaping societal perceptions and knocking down barriers.
