The National Business & Disability Council helps companies develop proactive plans to recruit, hire, retain, and advance people with disabilities.
Now more than ever, businesses need to diversify their workforce and recognize the value and talent people with disabilities, and aging workers, bring to the workplace. The National Business & Disability Council (NBDC) at The Viscardi Center believes a strong workforce is an inclusive workforce and can assist human resources and diversity professionals at companies in developing a proactive plan to assure they are taking all the actions necessary to address the recruitment, hiring, retention, and advancement of people with disabilities in their organizations.
This includes evaluating policies and practices, providing tools to recruit qualified candidates with disabilities and track progress, and monitoring the implementation of specifically designed diversity programs.
