Viscardi's Project Accessible Oral Health Initiative first "Take A Dental Health Day - Screening and Education for the Disability Community" event drew more than 75 volunteer dental professionals to educate and screen more than 200 children, adolescents and adults with disabilities.

The Viscardi Center announced today that it has joined with Henry Schein, Inc. to create Project Accessible Oral Health (PAOH), an international public-private partnership that will raise awareness of, and address the significant need for, increased oral health care for people with disabilities, thus improving their overall health and quality of life.
Chef Loi, executive chef at Loi Estiatorio in NYC, served up gourmet Greek at The Viscardi Center in support of the Center’s culinary skills training program, which prepares adults and adolescents with disabilities for in-demand careers in the food service industry.
