Scott Wright is the Manager of the National Business & Disability Council (NBDC) at The Viscardi Center. He is passionate about educating employers and Corporate Partners, so they strengthen their diversity through disability inclusion. Scott is responsible for program management and events, as well as the primary liaison for Corporate Partners.
Additionally, Scott has 15 years of experience working in the military community, including two years at the Wounded Warrior Project, which focuses on economically empowering veterans with disabilities by providing them with the tools needed to secure employment. This experience adds value to NBDC’s programming by ensuring that employers recruit, hire and retain veterans with disabilities.
As a leader, Scott is active in the community and served as a volunteer of the Special Olympics, Red Cross, the USO, and the Fortune Society. He currently serves on the board of his church, as well as two veteran service organizations (VSOs).
Scott proudly served in combat during the Gulf War and is a graduate of Indiana University.
