The Viscardi Center announced it will hold its 2nd Annual Golf Outing on September 9, 2014 at the prestigious Meadow Brook Club in Jericho, New York. Last year’s Inaugural Golf Outing was sold out and raised vital funds needed for the Center’s employment training and placement services for adolescents and adults with disabilities. The day includes a round of golf, an elaborate cocktail reception and a silent auction. Non-golfers may support the event by purchasing tickets to attend the evening cocktail reception. A variety of sponsorship packages are also available.
“We’re looking forward to holding this event again,” commented John D. Kemp, President and CEO of The Viscardi Center. “Last year’s outing was fun and successful. The proceeds from this event help us to continue to provide people with disabilities with the skills and supports they need for entry or re-entry into the workforce so that they too can enjoy financial independence.”
