Recruitment, Placement, Promotion and Retention are the categories of the employment lifecycle. There are a multitude of recruitment and placement programs for individuals with disabilities and how to identify the right fit. The focus of this session will be on promotion and retention. Once you get the job, how do you move up the ranks and get the promotions? From a management perspective, what can be done to ensure that all employees have the opportunity to gain the experience for future promotions? Employee turnover remains an expensive challenge for employers. What can be done to retain employees, especially to support the aging workforce?
