The National Business and Disability Council (NBDC) at The Viscardi Center is the preeminent business member organization for disability thought leaders to share best practices and develop innovative solutions for culture change and the growth of a truly inclusive workforce. Through NBDC’s tiered model, NBDC offers its members research, consultations, workshops and trainings, publications and benchmarking strategies on how to implement, grow, measure and create first rate disability programs.

The following is an overview of each membership level:

NBDC’s Basic Membership package includes:

    • Basic Consultation (one annual review of current corporate strategies and brief recommendations)
    • Ten (10) designated memberships from your organization
    • Complimentary use of NBDC’s signature job posting service
    • Access to Members-only website (NBDC’s National Resume Database®, reference material on disability related issues)
    • Emerging Leaders Internship Program (Corporate Orientation/Applicant Referral/Impact Review)
    • Access to Information Specialist
    • Resources and tools on accessible Communication & Information Technology (CIT)
    • E-newsletter

NBDC’s Gold Members will have all the same access as Basic Members and, in addition, which includes:

  • Fifteen (15) designated memberships from your organization
  • Additional consultations (phone consultations every quarter to review with members ongoing trends and offer recommendations/best practices to enhance disability policies for members)
  • Accessibility Survey (NBDC will send out a survey to members to fill out and then will reconvene to do a review by phone)
  • Informational resources (i.e., Emergency Preparedness Checklist)
  • Marketing Anthropology Project (MAP) committee membership
  • Bi-Annual Customized Workshop/Training Session (work with member to focus on training to meet its immediate business tactics to enhance disability confidence and show how disability is a cornerstone for a company’s larger business strategy)

NBDC’s Platinum Members will have all the same access as Basic, and Gold Members and, in addition, which includes:

  • Twenty-five (25) designated memberships from your organization
  • Personalized Corporate Service Plan (Overview Strategy Development review of Disability policies ranging from recruitment, hiring, retention, Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s), market opportunities, ancillary group evaluations (i.e. veterans, mature worker, etc.) to corporate messaging. NBDC will offer recommendations to enhance your company’s ongoing strategy (for a more detailed analysis please refer to NBDC’s consulting services)
  • Four webinars per year (topics will be discussed and agreed upon between NBDC and member company)
  • Full Day Onsite Strategy Session to enhance Personalized Corporate Service Plan for the organization. Additional follow up emails/phone calls to discuss findings and recommendations for action plan.

NBDC’s Executive Leadership Team Members will have all the same access as Basic, Gold, Platinum, and, in addition, will receive:

  • Media attention regarding corporate partnership with The Viscardi Center:

   • Logo, with link, on The Viscardi Center website’s homepage, NBDC homepage, and Sports Night event page
   • Banner at Sports Night
   • Social media posts announcing corporate partnership and/or volunteer efforts
   • Press releases announcing corporate partnership and/or volunteer efforts
   • Acknowledgement on The Viscardi Center outdoor electronic sign

  • Complimentary Hall of Fame Table - One Table of Ten in the President’s Circle, Celebrity Athlete at table, ELT Listing in Program, logo on The Viscardi Center website
  • Meaningful volunteer opportunities for employees to help build a positive image with customers, employees and the community, while also directly helping people with disabilities at The Viscardi Center
  • An opportunity to include a member of company’s C-suite or Executive Team to The Viscardi Board of Directors, The Viscardi Center Advisory Board, or the National Business & Disability Council (NBDC) Board of Directors.

NBDC Events
