The National Business & Disability Council (NBDC) at The Viscardi Center is an employer membership organization and comprehensive resource for disability employment best practices. Its members are predominantly corporations and Federal government employers committed to diversity. By becoming a member of NBDC, companies can proactively strengthen and diversify their workforce as well as comply with the requirements of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other federal regulations. NBDC can also assist companies in marketing to the 56.7 million Americans with disabilities and diversify their supply chains.

Did you know…
The September 2014 labor force participation rate for people with disabilities, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), was 20.1%, compared to 68.5% for people without disabilities. The labor force participation rate is the percentage of people who are working or actively looking for work. You can help us change these numbers!

The new "Who I Am" public service announcement from the Office of Disability Employment Policy's Campaign for Disability Employment is now available for viewing and downloading on the CDE website. “Who I Am” features nine real people with disabilities. Learn more.
 
NBDC Launches “Marketing Anthropology Project”
